Sciotti Selected To Attend NCAA Convention

GANSEVOORT, N.Y. - For the second-straight year, the North Eastern Athletic Conference sent student-athletes to the NCAA Convention, held in Washington, D.C. from Jan. 14 through Jan. 17. Seven student-athletes from the NEAC, including Wells' Michael Sciotti (North Syracuse, N.Y.) from the school's men's soccer team, were involved in various matters at the convention.

Sciotti and his fellow student-athletes were involved in many different areas at the convention, meeting with other students and sitting in on the meetings of various committees while examining how college athletics is run and operated locally and nationally.

"It has been a rewarding experience bringing such wonderful NEAC student-athletes to the convention for the second year in a row," said NEAC Commissioner Candice Murray. "They seemed to enjoy themselves thoroughly and it gave them tremendous insight to the administrative operations of campus athletic programs, conference operations, and the national association.  The experience will be a good building block and resume booster for them as they move past college."
